Bring out all your spooky decorations because fall is somewhat upon us. Even though it is still pretty hot in Texas, you are still able to join the fun. For those of you who are lucky enough to get the full blast of fall weather, well then I'm extremely jealous. Here are just a couple of my favorite trends for fall:
Animal print has been a popular trend plenty of times throughout the years, especially when it comes to leopard. What makes it different this time is all the other animal prints that are rising with it. Prints such as snake, tiger, and zebra are joining hands with leopard for complete fall animal domination. What I like most about animal prints is that while staying neutral it also adds something fun to every outfit. My favorite has got to be a leopard button down(x). It’s a great piece to throw on if you want it to seem like you put in the effort.
Tweed is another one of those materials that has been seen throughout the years. One of the most memorable moments for tweed is when Chanel came out with her staple tweed suits. Now during the Fall/Winter ‘18 Fashion week, brands like Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang have been sporting tweed items on their runways. My favorite item has got to be a tweed boyfriend blazer. It’s a light and easy item to pair over an outfit, especially since here in Texas we’re still seeing temperatures in the high 80s. It gives such a snatched “boss girl” vibe, and it makes it seem like you put in more effort than you did.
Hopefully it starts getting cooler because my sweaters and boots are ready to come out of hibernation. Be sure to tell me some of your favorite fall trends! Until next time, XO.
