About So Pink  I am Janet Wallace and this is my website. It was dreamt up way back in 2002, but was on perpetual pause due to the following factors: massive amounts of school work, including one huge and absolutely useless research project on African Hats, a wedding which was supposed to be a tiny garden affair but which turned out to be a huge deal (lovely, but huge), and the subsequent piles of laundry that nobody tells you about before you say I do. I am a wife, photo teacher, and owner of a very rude cat.  My husband is damn fine and awfully nice to live with. He also makes delicious hot cocoa in the winter out of real chocolate, not some powdered mix. I have a degree in the History of Art and Architecture from UCSB. I graduated with highest honors which is quite remarkable considering the amount of alcohol I consumed (mainly Strawberry Stoli with 7up and sangria mixed in a Sparklett’s bottle).  I worked for several years in politics, including an internship in the White House where I wrapped the President's gifts (gold paper, double-sided tape).
